There is only one other natural lake in Wales bigger than Llyn Padarn, and CADP is the only inland club in the NPMP Northern League. This allows us to row throughout the year, and many other clubs visit the lake to practice in the winter.
The club is a member of the Welsh Rowing Association and has competed in a number of rowing competitions along the Welsh coast. Although most of these races are held by sea, club members have competed in the Great River Race in London and rode up the Thames. A 21.6 mile race, which attracts over 330 traditional boats from around the world.
The club’s calendar also includes several more relaxed trips along the surrounding coasts.
